Life to a Liberal: Life is not fair! There should be no consequences of bad behavior! We should live the way we want to!

Life to an actual conservative: You have the right to be stupid!  You have the right to do bad behavior!  But You also have the right to suffer the consequences without effecting my ability to enjoy my freedoms at the same time, including the freedom to earn and spend my money the way I see fit.

This former philosophy is what has gotten to where we are. They ask for all these entitlements - Medicaid and Medicare, Obamacare and free college education.  But in doing that, you take away the consequences of life - the one part of life that is not fair but keeps people straight.  If you do not have consequences, what keeps you from doing the bad behavior.  Not ethics or moral, that's for sure.  That's been out the window for a long time. 

This is central to the liberal mind set.  First get rid of feeling accountable to a higher being  and then rely on big GovCo to take away the consequences of bad behavior.  Now I can take drugs, smoke, eat badly because later in life, GovCo is going to take care of my feeble body with Medicare.  Now, I don't even need a job because Medicaid is going to cover my medical costs.  NOW, with Obamacare, the same thing.  I now can get whatever degree I want, regardless of whether it helps society or not, and not worry about paying off the loan because all is forgiven in 20 years.

Do you see what's wrong with this picture?  Life is not fair, yes.  Believe it or not, that's the way it was designed. And yes, I believe it was DESIGNED!

Look at Europe and what the Occupy movement wants. The Occupiers just want their debts forgiven and forgotten.  Europe just agreed to have some of their countries' debts forgiven.  Then where is the motivation in loaning later?  What is the purpose of loaning in a free market?  Of course the EU is nota  completely free market but it is sad that these countries have become a charity case with no consequences.  The people are rioting in the streets?  Why? Because they are losing their entitlements and now have to face consequences of real life!

This is what our world is collapsing into.  A world of whining, weak people that are afraid to face real life.  God help us!
